They started falling behind last year, but the last check I ever got from them was in June of 2007. Swainson Hawke, Elliott James and Scott Neal were pushing the program long after they stopped paying promising everyone they would eventually start paying. It never happened and the last I heard about GIT is that there was $32,000,000 missing from their bank accounts, our commissions of course. So by the middle of this year all of my major income streams were lost. So now I'm put to the real test. As the big marketer that I am, I'd have to go out and prove myself, get back into the trenches and start making money like any other newbie would. No more easy train rides, and to be honest I was pretty scared, I was use to making mid six figures each year just based on my connections and people I knew, and now I had to start over. After GIT crashed, I was too ashamed to move them anywhere else. I remember what it was like making a very large affiliate income years ago, so I knew that's what I would do. I know what I was able to accomplish on the Internet before, so I knew in 1-2 years I could build a thriving Internet Business from scratch, but I also knew that in order to sustain my business, and myself for the long-run, I would have to find a different Internet Marketing Sub-Niche to enter. So we decided to learn SEO or Search Engine Optimization. We started writing some articles and launched MLM Review Kings this year also, which makes us about $400 per month in adsense over a years period of time, so that's some progress. Also after some research and long discussions with my Business Partner Jeff West, we decided to join an MLM Company called Trivita. After a year of promoting this we're making about $300.00 a month in totally passive net residual income. But this was just something we wanted to do as a challenge, these results will pay us a lot of money over the long run. This was the year Robot Reply got blacklisted. By this I mean that the service was generating so many spam complaints we had no choice but to shut it down even though we were making over $15,000 per month with the service. So in April 2006 the 3 year ride ended. However at this time the GIT checks were coming in strong so they were covering me for now. But I knew that wouldn't last forever, but at this time I still thought the checks coming in from GIT would last me many years. So I made the biggest mistake any Internet Marketer could make. I didn't study Niche Marketing or Affiliate Marketing, because I had it "so easy". I guess I didn't even think of the fact that I should be studying it. So in all honesty this year I spent most of the year spending money and not figuring out cutting edge ways regarding how to earn more of it. Guardian International Travel was also paying me this entire year. This is also the year we started development of the MONEY! DVD-ROM. We had the idea for it at the end of 2005, but we started working on it in February. There was over a year and about $50,000 invested into this project over the course of a year. It's basically a DVD-ROM packed to the hilt with PLR Rights and Master Resell Rights products. But what makes this product better than anything related on the market is the easy navigation and control of files. It took us months to prepare the Visual Basic Directory Data for the programmer who programmed and compiled the User-Interface for this. The value of products contained within this DVD-ROM run into the thousands of dollars. Robot Reply is still going strong this year. This was a semi-vacation year for myself, money seemed to be rolling in so smoothly. There's nothing like an automated membership site pulling in great income. I also joined a company called GIT or Guardian International Travel this year in March. The owners and all the management turned out to be retarded scum buckets and this company no longer exists. But as a measure of accomplishment, I was lucky enough through the help of Bill Murphy from BTI, Brad Weinman and Aaron Andrews to have a downline of over 6,200 people in less than a year. I had people in my downline collectively deposit over $70,000,000. Before they crashed though I made over $200,000 in checks with this company, but myself and other leaders were owed a lot more. This year I was working on Robot Reply full time with Sanchit Bhatnager. Not much else going on with me this year. I still managed another 217k year this year promoting this and a few other programs which were doing good at this time. I was trying to learn Niche Marketing at this time but was struggling. I continued with some education but still unable to pull the pieces together although I was earning outstanding income with my Autoresponder Membership Site. I knew some day I'd have to get this stuff wired, not this year, lol. I also lost my Aplus Marketplace list this year to a database crash. This was my biggest year on-line ever. Early in the year we launched a Lead Sales site that did over $200,000 in sales this year. Later this year we launched a company called Robot Reply, which was an Autoresponder Service that is now dead because it was blacklisted. However this website made over a million dollars before it went down the tubes. I was the President and Head of Marketing for this company. Myself and Sanchit Bhatnager from Toufee ran the day to day operations. It created nice, steady income for almost 3 years. This year was another great year. I took home a bit more than last year, over $235,000. I was the top promoter at the time for Gary Shawkeys Pro Money Mail which no longer exists, Host4Profit, and I even did a Television Infomercial with Gary Shawkey this year. I was the President of Lead Lightning which was an Autoresponder / MLM program that made about $140,000 the very first day of launch. Keep in mind in the future whenever I happen to mention that I took home a certain amount of money, that's in my pocket not just gross sales. I also spoke at Carl Galletti's Internet Marketing Mastermind event in Las Vegas in June and had a great time there and met a lot of very successful and great people. This is the year I also became a 3-Star Diamond in Life Force International, or LFI. This company payed me six figures while I was a member and was lucky enough to have a few great marketers under myself, Brad Weinman, Jim Bartlett, Charles Fuchs, Don Reid and many others. I also won the fastest growing volume award and a few other awards at this event. As I was at this event, I found out my father passed on due to illness. My mom didn't tell me until I got back. As a capper to end off this year, Jeff West and myself were both featured in Gary Carson's Six Figure Income Magazine. This was a big inspiration to us and were happy to be included. Brian Garvin's Internet Marketing Career takes off big. Optin Lightning Launches and makes about $70,000 in Sales over the 4 years it was being sold. I was also the top affiliate in a program called Big Dog Secrets, which is a program that promotes multiple streams of income. I sold over 1,200 of those ebooks that year. My income this year was about $220,000. This is also the year I met Jeff West my current Business Partner, and Brad Weinman which have had a positive impact on my Internet Marketing Career from this year forward. Brian Garvin was still selling Reprints Galore, and working on a better DVD called the MONEY! DVD-ROM and MONEY! Jr. DVD-ROM, which are both off the market. This year Reprints Galore made about $11,000, a bit more than it made last year. I picked up a lot of DVD Development Experience, especially in the area of data compilation and creating exceptional Interfaces that allow for easy viewing and navigation of large amounts of files in multiple categories. I met Gary Ambrose in April or so of this year. We started working on a project called Optin Lightning. As of the end of this year, this script was still in Development. Brian Garvin launches Reprints Galore, which sold about $10,000 in 1999. At that time, it was the largest Resell Rights CD-ROM on the market. I wasn't filthy rich yet, but I had money in my pocket when most of my poor old buddies were flat broke. I was proud of this achievement, this is the year I learned that I had what it took to sell products online, and knew I could depend on the Internet in addition to my $520.00 per month Disability Check which I receive now due to lower lumbar injuries which I incurred while I was Paratrooping in the Marine Corps. Brian Garvin at this time was a "newbie" to the Internet. I started working with Richard Dine on the development of a Reprint Rights CD-ROM called Reprints Galore which is no longer on the market. We had special software developed that allowed easy navigation of hundreds of articles with Resell Rights in many different categories. We weren't in profit as of yet. I was born in the city of Orange in Orange County California. I was raised by two working parents, Bill Garvin and Georgiana Garvin. I guess I lived a decent middle class lifestyle, never rich but always had the basics provided for without worrying. When I was 7 years old we moved to Placentia, CA. which is right next to Anaheim and Orange. Then when I was 12 years old we moved to Norco, CA. which is near Corona and Riverside. So I always lived the Southern California lifestyle. After finishing up High School and upon recommendation went into the U.S. Marines for four years in which I got an early medical pension of just over $500 per month. I was with a unit called 1st Anglico. We worked on many occasions with the Army 82nd Airborne and Army Special Forces and we reported directly to the Base Commanding General. I participated in the Persian Gulf War, and was one of the first 1,000 to land at Port Jubail as part of a SOC (Special Operations Capable) Task Force. I was also a Paratrooper, Radio Operator and an Artillery Forward Observer, and if I had to I could fly a CH-46 Sea Knight. Forward Observers are one of the two most dangerous jobs in the Marine Corps right under EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal). When I got out of the Marines at 22 I moved to a Mobile Home in Oceanside, CA. I didn't work any jobs until I started Internet Marketing back in 1998. |
